Open Joint-Stock Company "Novoshahtinskiy zavod nefteproductov" or OJSC "NZNP" for short is situated near the city of Novoshahtinsk which is about 100 km away from Rostov-on-Don. It is a part of the "Yug Rusi" group of companies which is a privately held entity operating and developing since 1992. The "NZNP" was built in the period between 2005 and 2009 and at the moment is refining about 2,5 million tonns of crude oil per year. The refinery is producing Straight run Gasoline, Straight run Fuel oil and Furnace oil. The next stage, which will increase the refined volume as well as the depth of the refining, is planned to be completed within a few years. The "NZNP" has its own terminal on the Don river which allows to transship up to 7,5 million tonns of petroleum products per year and can load the river-sea class vessels with up to 5,500 mt of petroleum products. Rostov-on-Don being a very active trading hub allows for the produce of the refinery to be exported by rail or water transport. The "NZNP Trade" LLC is a trading division which is based in Rostov-on-Don and is responsible for the commercial activities of the "NZNP".
