Technology Commercialization Center (TCC) is a brand new structure of the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod (UNN) that was found in order to manage all the UNN's internal processes of innovation idea generation and its further commercialization. In this case the key goals of TCC are the following: 1. Establishing a systemic approach in the following areas: - Commercializing UNN technology discoveries into the global market place; - Creating TCC Standard Operating Procedures for working with collaboration partners; - Encouraging effective cross disciplinary collaboration across science faculties inside UNN; - Integrating UNN into the local, regional, national and international innovation eco-systems; - Promoting joint R&D collaboration between UNN and state owned & private enterprises. 2. Support small innovation companies established under the russian federal law number 217: - Analysis of UNN-originating know-how, documenting of UNN’s rights to own its intellectual property, and the proper transparent protection of all IP rights; - Development of Standard Operating Procedures in screening, pre-seed packaging and the preparation of commercialization Road Map strategies for new innovation projects; - Monitoring and support of innovation projects, including search for financial investors & strategic partners.
